Well, here it is. After several years of reading other people’s blogs and a lot of procrastinating, I’ve finally started my very own food blog. Who am I? I’m Mrs B, a thirty-something, living in a Suffolk village, near Bury St Edmunds.
To start with, I’ll be posting recipes and maybe some reviews of cookery books or places where I’ve eaten. Most of the recipes I post here serve two instead of the usual four servings, unless it’s a recipe for a special occasion. I’m no good at dividing all the ingredients in a list by two and I usually notice I have too much of something just when it makes its way into the mixing bowl.
The name of the blog was inspired by a mysterious tree in the garden of an old thatched cottage where I used to live, back when I was too busy procrastinating to write. The mystery tree had unusual shaped leaves and bore knobbly fruit:
Turned out it was a mulberry tree.
